SAT 09TH MAY   Weather FAIR  Wind NE 2

Launched 1658 Back on station 1822

Crew assemble for a boat caught in the swell at Portelet Bay. Casulty crew managed to swim ashore, however, the vessel now abandoned drifted onto rocks. Although the anchor was deployed the warp was not long enough to hold the vessel in place with the incomming tide. The ILB was tasked with towing the vessel off of the rock and back to St Helier Harbour.

ILB DID NOT LAUNCH AS ANOTHER VESSEL TOOK CASUALTY IN TOW

WED 3RD JUNE  Weather FINE Wind NE1

Launched 0532 Back on station 0800

Both boats lanuched to a missing fisherman. A member of the public noticed a fishing rod with its line out and some fishing gear scattered on the rocks at Corbiere but no one insight! ILB searched the shore line while the ALB searched just off the coast. After a couple of hours of searching the boats were stood down.

MON 22ND JUNE   Weather FINE Wind N F3

Launched 1552 Back on station 1812

The ILB was launched to a 24foot motor boat broken down 1.5NM south of the North Minquiers Buoy. ILB towed the vessel back to St Helier.

SUN 28TH JUNE  Weather FAIR Wind ENE F3

Launched 1627 Back on station 1745

The St Helier ILB was launched along with the St Helier ALB and St Catherines ILB to a 5 mtr motor boat taking on water and unable to cope 2 NM north of Plemont Bay. There were 4 persons on board with only 3 life jackets!! The casulty vessel made the beach at Plemont and awaited the arrival of the Lifeboats. The St Catherines lifeboat arrived 5 min before and proceeded to pump the water out. The St Helier Lifeboat then passed the larger pump across to the casulty and towed the vessel off of the beach towards the safety of St Helier.

Launched 2009 Back on station 2100

The St Helier inshore lifeboat was launched to a dismasted sailing vessel with two persons onboard requiring a tow back to St Helier.
