12MTR MOTOR BOAT WITH PROPELLOR SHAFT PROBLEMS. VESSEL IS ANCHORED 4NM EAST OF GOREY. THE ALB LOCATED VESSEL AND TOWED TO ST.HELIER HARBOUR

WED 3RD JUNE  Weather FINE Wind NE1

Launched 0532 Back on station 0800

Both boats lanuched to a missing fisherman. A member of the public noticed a fishing rod with its line out and some fishing gear scattered on the rocks at Corbiere but no one insight! ILB searched the shore line while the ALB searched just off the coast. After a couple of hours of searching the boats were stood down.

SAT 6TH JUNE  Weather Fine Wind NW 2

Launched 1027 Back on station 1150

Tamar lifeboat launced to a 30 foot motor boat with engine difficulties 3NM NW La Corbiere. The Vessel was in tow by a sailing vessel but progress towards St Helier was slow.

SAT 13TH JUNE  Weather FINE Wind SE F1

Launched 1457 Back on station 1856

The Alexandra Coutanche Tyne class lifeboat was launched to a sailing vessel had reported that their engine had broken down and was becalmed 5nm west of NW minquiers buoy. The ALB located the vessel and towed it back to St Helier

MON 22ND JUNE Weather Fair Wind N F3

Launched 1730 Back on station 1815

The ALB was requested to assist the ILB with the tow back into St Helier


SUN 28TH JUNE  Weather FAIR Wind ENE F3

Launched 1627 Back on station 1745

The Tamar Class George Sullivan was launched along with St Catherines ILB and the St Helier ILB to a 5 mtr motor boat taking on water and unable to cope 2 NM north of Plemont Bay. There were 4 Persons on board with only 3 life jackets!! The casulty vessel made the beach at Plemont and awited the arrival of the Lifeboats. The St Catherines lifeboat arrived 5 min before and proceeded to pump the water out. The St Helier Lifeboat then passed the larger pump across to the casulty and towed the vessel off of the beach towards the safety of St Helier.

FRI 10TH JULY Weather Cloudy Wind WSW F2

Launched 1645 Back on station Diverted to next incident 1710

Initially the ALB was called to an intoxicated swimmer heading out to see from the Rice Bowl Slip. The ALB arrived on scene and deployed the Y boat to search closer inshore. The States of Jersey Fire and Rescue craft was also launched. The Fire Service located the casulty holding onto some rocks so the ALB was then diverted to the next service.
